For LaKendra Kennedy, the sky is the limit. She is a cast member on the TLC Network Show “Dance Kids ATL”. The newcomer started her career in the industry at an early age of six months old, doing print ads for Rich’s and Family Dollar. At the age of three, she showcased her talent in a Model Production showcase and won best overall performer and model. LaKendra is a talented actress, dancer, singer and model.
She appeared in the motion picture “Joyful” Noise as one of the OLPT Choir Cast members (SAG-eligible). She was a dancer in the video “No Mans Land” by B.O.B of Grand Hustle and T-Pain feat Roscoe dash “Own Steps.” She performed in the hit stage play SuperStar Kidz The Musical. She is currently in a performing Pop-n-B group called “Noyze Box.” She has also walked several runways throughout Atlanta including Show Me The Way Foundation-Runway Red Celebrity Kids Fashion Show.
“Dance Kinds ATL” is a platform for young professional hip hop dancers to perform. Lead by dance coach Tracey Berry and famed choreographer Sean Bankhead (who has worked with top stars including Beyoncé, Ciara and Bruno Mars), these powerhouse preteens ranging from ages 9 to 16 have made dance their priority, living out their passion in the studio and on the stage.
